Gatton Manor Hotel & Country Club

We arrived on 21st May as a group of 24 playing a Ryder Cup format over 2 days (1 night stay). We found the staff absolutely amazing and were greeted with a huge warm welcome. It’s a beautiful venue that with a bit more investment (which we hear is coming) will be a spectacular place to stay wether golf, wedding or just a vacation. But we were there for golf. The course layout is superb with very well presented scenic holes, superb views, excellent fairways and good holding greens, it has a fantastic finish with to par 5’s in the closing 4 holes. The food was excellent and you will certainly enjoy the breakfast. There are a multitude of different places to sit inside and out to enjoy a nice few drinks with friends and the price list is very reasonable. Overall we (all 24) had a fantastic time and would certainly recommend it to future golf societies that are looking for a great venue to enjoy. Thanks again to all the staff, and in particular the lovely lady who sorted me out with extra coffee (following my hangover) she knows who she is.

Didn't use the hotel, only played golf. Really nice course, fairways and greens were in really good condition, nice grass driving range and short game practice and putting area. For the price it's a must to play there, some really scenic holes aswel. I would highly recommend.

I have to say this was an absolute gem of a course. Tucked away in a lovely corner of Surrey reached through some lovely winding country roads. We were met by a very warm welcome and advised of the condition of some of the greens which admittedly were not at they best but understandably so given the time of year. We headed out in a blizzard and returned in glorious sun! A truly strange but really fantastic afternoon of golf. I know there is a lot of selection of golf in Surrey but I would recommend adding Gatton to your list if you want something off the beaten track and a pretty and peaceful course.

We booked a society golf day at Gatton Manor. Great customer service received by both Sam and Tina. Unfortunately I had change quite of fews things around on the lead up to the event. Hats off to Sam for being very understanding in sorting out food and refunds ect! Very professional and prompt We recieved a great welcome with coffe and bacon rolls on the ready. The course was amazing and we will definitely be coming back. Hopefully i shall be a bit more organised next time Thanks again guys and you made our day Gary

Golf course is top notch, played in July 24. Fantastic layout with lots of features to play around including water and sloping fairways encouraging you to play tactically. Greens in great condition and were fast. Pin positions challenging too. Tee boxes could have been a little flatter, but that’s the only criticism. Great course, will be back.

Absolutely lovely golf course with a real variety of holes. Plenty of natural obstacles with water, woods, trees and banks making it quite a testing course. The club house is closed for refurbishment, there is no half way house and all the greens were under maintenance but we knew that and they gave a discount. Will go back soon and would reccomend.
